This full size bronze is located on the beautiful Platte River in Nebraska, just miles from where the historic incident took place. Ten feet long and 7 feet tall, weighing 1200 lbs. Commissioned by Fred Bosselman. The bronze sculpture entitled "A Narrow Escape" is a permanent reminder of a great story in Nebraska history and the conflict between two very different cultures that led to political tension and ethnic violence between the indigenous Native American Indian and the early Pioneers of the Great Plains.
